South Platte River

Headed down to the South Platte downstream of Deckers for the day to see if I could have any luck on a river that I still haven't figured out.  I had a beautiful day to fish with the water around 100cfs and clear.  I end up trying three different spots over the coarse of four hours trying a number of nymping rigs and dries with equal success.  NO FISH!  Despite covering a good amount of water I did not get a single bite or even see a single fish all day.  Still good to get into the mountains for the day.
