Day 71
In typical Colorado fashion we had a brilliant warm sunny day after it snowing the previous day, so Derron and decided to go to Bear Creek. We park at Little Park and fish our way upstream to Lair the Bear and the second bridge.
Derron was nymphing all day using a red san juan worm and a small nymph fly while I tried a little nymphing and alot of dry fly fishing. Derron proceeded to catch six fish for the day with another two that got off. I had a tough day of fishing with only two hooked, both on dries, and none landed.
The only bright side to the day was that the fish were fooled by the parachute bwo that I tied. We fish until sundown and call it a day. Must have been 65 degrees after snowing the day before!
Rod: Motsugo 10'
