400th day of Fishing
Headed up to Clear Creek for my 400th day of fishing since I started. The weather was great and the water was low and clear. The day started off a little slow trying to find a pattern that worked, but after some trial and error I land on a red Amy's Ant for the day. Once I changed to this pattern the action picked up and the fish started coming in. The theme of the day was the chase, having at least half a dozen fish chase the fly downstream to eat it. By the end of my three hours of fishing I managed to land over twenty on a dry fly in late October. Feeling pretty good how far I have come from my first day.
