Arkansas River in May

Headed down to the Arkansas River with Mark for the day.  We fished three different spots starting up high in the canyon and working our way back down.  The weather was in the high 70's and the flows were around 400cfs with the water stained.  I fished the whole day with a Amy's Ant adding a trailing fly a couple of times to get picky fish.  I finish the day with a dozen caught while Mark finishes with eight.  Great day to be fishing in Colorado!
