South Boulder Creek
Headed down to South Boulder Creek for the day as one of two spots that have not been affected by the runoff. It was a beautiful day out and I start out up high on a stretch I like. I manage to catch a fish on the first cast between two boulders. For a change of pace, I decided to tie on a red Amy's Ant for the day, which worked out nicely. In the first hour I catch three but only manage one the rest of the day. I finish the day taking pictures with my dslr but unfortunately loose my point and shoot somewhere along the way.

Sad to hear that you lost your point and shoot at some time. Maybe some good Samaritan will come across it and try to find out who it belonged too.......... Nice water and thanks for sharing South Boulder Creek with us.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mel!
DeleteIf you email me your secret spot, I'll keep my eyes open for your camera. I'll even get it back to you Kevin.
ReplyDeleteNo secret to the spot(bottom picture), it is just below the bridge about 100ydrs or so where the big boulders close in on the creek. I usually start my day up high on the creek and then walk downstream to the picnic tables and work my way up. Thanks for the effort!
