Lake fork of the Conejos day 1
With no luck on the Conejos River the day before I decided to try the Lake Fork of the Conejos for my second day. I hike past Rock Lake and start fishing when I get to the meadow. I end up having a great day, catching over thirty fish and a couple over 15". The best part was that all the fish were wild native rio grande cutthroat. I finish off the day walking to the next lake before heading back to camp. Great day!
