Windy day on the water
Headed up to Clear Creek for a few hours on a sunny but very windy day. My first stop is at a pullout I have never tried before. I tie on a Amy's Ant to a Parachute Adams and start casting into the slack water areas. Within a few casts I have my first fish of the day on the adams. I work upstream a ways catching two more and having three more go for it but not take it. I pick up and move to a spot I have tried before that I know is in the sun. I manage to catch just one fish as the winds seemed to have picked up. I last about another hour before I call it due to winds and head home. Still good to get out!

I hate the wind up there.
