Headed out to the South Platte river on a beautiful day with Mark to try our luck for the first time in weeks. The flows were low and clear but the river was a little busy for a week day. Never the less we start at a familiar spot. Mark works downstream while I work upstream a ways before turning around. With no fish to be had we pick up and try another spot, hoping the fishing will pick up. Sadly, after a few hours of fishing at a number of spots we still had not caught anything and decided to call it a day.
Got skunked, but still a great day in the mountains with a bud!
