Winter Fishing on South Boulder Creek
Once again we got another beautiful day to go fishing, so Mark and I headed up to South Boulder Creek for the day. The flows were around 100cfs and the parking lot had but a single other car in it. This had our hopes high that it would be a good fishing day.
Throughout the day we work ourselves downstream but can't seem to find a pattern the fish will take. Between the two of us we covered everything nymphs through dries and no takers. Just like last time we tried a number of spots and with no action called it day after a few hours of fishing.
Still 50 dergrees in January and doing a little fishing in the mountains can't be beat.
