Fishing near Gunnison

My buddy Daniel and I headed down to Blue Mesa Reservoir to do a little camping and ended up on the very north west corner of the lake.  We decided to walk to the inlet and see if the fishing was any better.  As soon as the lake turned into creek I started catching fish.  As I made my way upstream I was catching a fish in almost every hole and much to my surprise some hogs.  Seemed like every deep hole had a 15"+ fish in it, as I caught five over 15" in the small stretch of creek I fished.  All said and done had a great time fishing Soap Creek.
