First try on Gore Creek

After having a tough fishing day on Piney River Derron and I decided to try Gore Creek for the first time.  We pick a spot in town and walk down a ways so we can fish back upstream.  Derron still using the Tenkara rod and becoming a little more comfortable with it started hitting his stride.  In the couple hours Derron fished he managed to land another eight fish including a couple around 14".  I had even better luck catching around a dozen fish with a couple big ones and the double slam.  We both walked away with smiles on our faces and another great piece of water to fish.
