Unbelievable day on the Poudre
Headed up to the Cache La Poudre River for the day to see if I could match the last time I came up. I start the day fishing a section that is new to me and then working into some familiar waters upstream. I finish the day fishing a totally new section of water for me just above the confluence with the South Fork. Other than losing for flies to fish over the coarse of the day, I could not have asked for a better fishing day. I manage to catch 37 for the day and finish off with a nice 17" brown to cap the day.

Great photos, as usual. So did you get your Iwana repaired or did you have a spare?
ReplyDeleteI brought a spare with me for the day to fish with but I got my Iwana fixed and fishing again in 3 days. Oh, Thanks!
