The Arkansas and Halfmoon
Headed to the Arkansas river with Mark to see if we could catch some bigger fish. We tried a few different spots from just below twin lakes up to Kobi without much luck and no fish of any real size. We decide to head over to Halfmoon Creek to finish off the day and hopefully pick up some numbers as the first half of the day was slow.
We start fishing from my campsite and work our way upstream over the next few hours. Mark and I switch lead each time we catch a fish and by the time we finish we have caught close to thirty fish. I did manage to catch brook, brown and rainbow but could not find a cutty to get the slam.
Pretty good day of fishing in the mountains with a buddy.
