South Boulder Creek
Headed up to South Boulder Creek below the reservoir for the day to see if I could catch my first fish of the year. After reading the reports with the increased flows I decided to start the day with mysis and midges. Sadly I didn't get any action on this setup and switched to a couple different midges below a Amy's Ant. A few casts after switching and I land a little Rainbow on the midge. Mission accomplished! First fish of the year in! I fish for a few more hours getting two more hooked but not in and two nose the Amy's Ant but not take it. I finish the day taking some pictures and enjoying the sixty five degree day.

It's great to live in Colorado and have access to such great water.
