Muddy Creek

Mark and I tried Muddy Creek with the flows there being lower and consistent than the surrounding areas.  We had good weather but the mosquito's were out in force.  We walk downstream a mile or two and then work ourselves back up to the car.  We both seem to be getting some action but the fish keep snapping us off.  I had three big ones snap me off before I finally got a nice 16" brown just before we get to the car, while Mark had at least that many on and off and he caught two over 15".  We finish the day off stopping at byers park to fish the Colorado if we could.  The water was super high and neither of us caught anything so we call it a day.  Nice to get on a big fish though.  We head back to do some camping Willow Creek.
