Clear Creek

Headed up the mountain to fish Clear Creek for the day.  The weather was windy and cloudy making it a cold day and a tough day to cast.  I tie on a amy's ant followed by a griffiths gnat and start and one of my favorite spots.  I get nothing at the first stop and move downstream a ways and try another spot.  Same results as the first spot and I move further downstream.  I finally hook into a little brookie and have my first fish of the day and year!  I try a couple more holes with no luck before I call it day and head back home.  Good to get out!
