Cache La Poudre
Mark and I decided to go to the Cache La Poudre River for the day even though the flows were really low(38cfs). We start at our normal spot and work upstream for a couple hours. We both tie on a green Amy's Ant to start and it doesn't take long before we are both on fish. That being said the overall fishing experience was slow and not nearly what this area normally offers. We get to the top and Mark has four and I have three fish in before we take a break and move to the next area. We pick another of our favorite spots and thankfully the fishing turns on a bit. After a slow start to the day we finish with a hour at the end that yields eight fish between us. Great way to finish what turned out to be the nicest weather day we have had in a while.
