One windy day
Went back up to Clear Creek hoping the forecast for heavy winds would be wrong. It wasn't! I get to the creek and the winds are a consistent 20+mph with gusts over 30mph. I have the Amy's Ant on and start working my way upstream. First hole and I get a little brown. I work up to the spot where I know a big rainbow sits and can see it feeding. I cast over him and watch him come up for it and then turn away at the last moment. I don't get him today but keep working upstream picking up fish when I can get a good cast in. I call it when the winds pick up and the snow starts to come in.
