Eleven Mile Canyon
Decided to try out Eleven Mile Canyon with Mark for the day. The weather was cold and cloudy and the flows were around 100cfs. The water was low and clear and very cold. We start at our normal spot and I have a amy's ant down to a scud tied on. I get a bite on the scud after a few minutes of fishing and end up landing a 12" brown to start the day. I work upstream catching just three more before meeting back up with Mark. Mark catches two and we decide to try a different spot in the canyon. The second spot gives a little action but no fish for either of us, so we make the decision to try a piece of water just outside the canyon to finish the day. We each pick up two but I manage to get the fish of the day by landing a fat 15" rainbow. Cold but good day on the water!
