Derron and I wanted to try a new spot so we headed up to Rocky Mountain N.P. and fished Moraine Park. We started at the fence and worked our way upstream the creek which was in a wide open meadow and just wined back and forth. Derron was throwing a grasshopper that looked pretty realistic and ended up catching seven for the day and I used a large red body stimulator and caught three with a number of hookups that shook themselves loose. We ended up fishing for about five hours in the middle of what was a beautiful day with a little breeze and still ended up catching fish and having a lot of action. Another great day of fishing with Derron!
