Day 49

Spent the day driving to the sierra's and camped next to the Yuba River and had a hour or so to fish at the end of the day.  Tied on a winged ant and within a half hour I caught a 8" brown trout on my first try at fishing in California.  Dax came over to where I was fishing and I handed him my rod and before I could set up the other rod he landed a 9" brown on his first attempt at tenkara( I think this sold him on tenkara)!  With it getting dark we called it a day after an hour or so and having each caught a fish, FANTASTIC!
