Last day in California Dax and I decided to go to Lagunitas Creek to try some fishing below Alpine Lake. It ended up being a rainy day but on the bright side we did not see another soul. This was one of the most beautiful creeks I have been to but the water was low and the fish were super small. I ended up with one hook and no fish for the day while Dax using my Matsugo 9' tenkara rod caught a 5" brown and a 1" brown for the day with another hooked. We ended up fishing for a few hours and called it day with the rain still coming down.
Rod: Matsugo 9'
Line: Traditional Tenkara 13'
Fly that worked: BWO
