Cache La Poudre River

Headed back up to the Poudre with Mark after seeing the flows were around 200cfs.  We start at the islands and work our way back up to the car.  After a hour or so we get to the top of the first island     and Mark has caught seven and I pulled in eleven.  We take a little break and then get back to it.  We get to the car and Mark has 17 while I have 21 to hand including four over 12".  We try the fan area next but have zero action so we leave after a half hour or so and head back to the top islands.  Mark works the middle branch while I work the north branch.  We meet back at the top and find out we both had good luck bringing in fifteen between us.  We finish off the day at a spot further down canyon.  By the time we finish Mark has 35 fish and I have 45!  Fantastic day on the water!
