Conejos River day 5

Last day of the trip and we start the day by trying out Elk Creek.  The water level is good and the water is crystal clear.  Despite the good conditions Mark is the only one to catch a fish.  After working upstream for a half hour with only one fish we call it and head back to the car.  We still want to fish so we pick a spot downstream from the canyon and fish for a couple hours.  I get on a fish pretty quickly but it takes Mark some time before his first fish comes.  The day is slow and we both end up with just a handful caught.  That being said, a pretty good finish to the trip.  Caught fish on every day!
