Cache La Poudre River
Finally hit a different river with Mark when we headed up to the Cache La Poudre River. The weather was perfect and the water finally dropped to a good wading level and was clear. We start at our normal starting spot and end up working both sides of the island. I tie on a elk hair caddis and Mark has a pmx on as we begin the day. For what ever reason the fishing seems slow but by the time we get to our first break spot we have caught close to 25 between us. We work back up to the car and then switch spots to finish the day. We try another island we know and work the far side. Once again the fishing is great and we probably catch another 25, ending with around 50 between us. Great day on the water and could not beat the weather!
