South Platte River

Headed back to the South Platte for a few hours before the heat and winds pick up.  I get to the river around 10am and start fishing my way back to the car.  The first pool gives up three fish consisting of two browns and a rainbow caught on both the Amy's Ant and on a nymph.  The second and third holes each give up one but this time both were on the Amy's.  The rest of the day all the action is on the Amy's Ant and I finish the day around 12:30pm with 11 fish to hand.  Another great day on the water!
