A little Hopper Action

The weather couldn't have been better so I decided to head up to Clear Creek for the day.  I started the day at the first tunnel but didn't have any luck so I moved up the canyon.  Stop two was a spot I have fished many times and caught good numbers, so my hopes were up.  After a few changes I finally switch to a red Amy's Ant and manage to land a nice 12" Brown on the front side of a big boulder.  Sadly this was the only fish caught at this stop.  Third stop gives up one more on the Amy's Ant and a possible third but I pulled the fly out of its mouth.  The wind picked up late in the afternoon so I called it a day and headed home.
