Mount Evans Wilderness

Wanted to try a new spot and headed up to Mount Evans on the southwest side.  I had the goal of fishing Scott Gomer Creek as I walked up the trail.  Sadly the creek down low is narrow and the brush was thick so I did not get to fish much of it.  I did manage to find a few spots where it opened up a bit and catch some fish.  I walked about 4 miles and only caught a dozen fish in an area I thought I would have caught three times that number.  Still was a great walk and a beautiful area, with more creek to be explored at a later date.
