Rocky Mountain N.P.

Mark and I decided to try Rocky Mountain N.P. for the day even though the weather report had the wind for the day in the mid 20mph's.  We end up fishing three different creeks over the coarse of the day and don't  run across one other fisherman all day.  We start on the North St. Vrain but only catch one fish before we decide to move on and try the Big Thompson.  We fish most of Moraine Park and pick up 4 fish each on Amy's Ant's.  To finish the day we move on to Glacier Creek but sadly don't catch anything.  Pretty nice to be fishing in the mountains when it's sixty degrees in mid November!

    1. Thanks Howard! I'm now in a heavy work schedule for the next four months, but next year we will get out for a little of both if you like.

  4. Great photos as usual. Are the 2nd and 5th pics of Glacier Creek? If so, the water appears considerable lower than when I visited RMNP in late August. I didn't have much luck fishing North St. Vrain, but caught a bunch of browns and brookies in lower Glacier Creek and the Moraine Park section of the Big Thompson.

    1. Just the last picture is Glacier Creek. The water was low throughout the park and the fishing was pretty tough. Oh, Thanks!
