Arkansas River and the wind
Headed down to the Arkansas with Mark to try our luck. The flows were around 500cfs and the sun was out all day. However the wind was a consistent 30mph making casting a chore all day. We tried four different spots with no luck or fish and called it a day around 5pm. Still nice to get out for the day.

I'm curious Kevin. What line weight are you using here? I love the Arkansas. That's where I started my fly fishing career.
ReplyDeleteI used a woven line, which is a light version of a furled line and 6x tippet.
