Canyon fishing

Headed to the canyons to do some fishing with Mark for the day.  We get to the creek around 11:30am and just start working our way upstream.  The water was low and clear and the weather was perfect.  I start with a elk hair caddis but finish with a hippie stomper, not because one wasn't working, but rather a change to a easier fly to see.  We end up trading off fishing for the whole day and probably catch close to 50 fish between us. We call it a day around 4:30pm and walk back to the car.   Couldn't have asked for a better day!
