North Fork White River

 On a family trip to Missouri I got a chance to fish for a day and took advantage.  The river was way up from a weeks worth of rain, so what I thought I would be able to wade was way to high and limited where I could fish.  My first spot was a boat launch area and was busy and accordingly I did not catch anything.  The next spot was the winner, with a big slack water area and no people.  I could see sun fish, carp, trout and white fish so I start casting.  It doesn't take long and I have the sun fish biting.  After a couple near misses I finally hook into a little one or big one(I don't know as these were my first I have ever caught).  I continue for a couple hours and catch three with a number of near takes.  Great day on the water!
