Clear Creek

Was in the area so I decided to fish Clear Creek for  the afternoon.  I start around 1pm and find a spot to start working up.  The water was still high and moving but there were plenty of edges to hit.  I manage to get a few looks but no takers.  I soon realize I have forgotten my hat and sun tan lotion as I am getting roasted by the sun.  I fish for about an hour and a half before calling it a day and heading home.  Skunked on Clear Creek in the summer, what is happening?
