South Platte River

Headed down to the South Platte with Mark for the day, hoping to get on some fish.  We try a new section of water for us and try and get away from the crowd.  After walking down a ways we start fishing back up to the car on what turned out to be a sunny but windy day.  We both get into some fish but sadly nothing of size.  By the time we run into more fisherman Mark has caught 4 and I have caught 6.  We decide to pack up and fish some nearby beaver ponds to finish the day.  The brookies were spooky but Mark got one and I got a couple.  Nice little area to finish the day.  Pretty good day in the mountains.
