Arkansas River

Headed down south to the Arkansas River with Mark and Derron to try our luck at the caddis hatch.  The flows were up and the water was high and muddy, making the fishing tough.  We try a spot up high that we have fished many times before.  Mark lands a sucker fish while Derron and I don't get anything.  We decide to try a nearby small creek with lower and clearer water.  We finally start getting into some fish with Mark getting two and myself one.  Derron didn't land anything but hooked and moved three fish.  A slow tough day of fishing, but nice to get out!
