Arkansas river

Mark and I headed down to the Arkansas River hoping to come across a caddis hatch or two.  It was a little early in the season for it but we had heard the hatches were coming off.  Sadly the water levels had risen and the water was completely stained.  We try four different spot throughout the day but neither of us our having much luck.  Mark pulls in four for the day while I manage just one on a copper john.  Good to get out out but a pretty tough fishing day.
