Clear Creek with Mark

Mark and I decided to go to Clear Creek for the day and fish up above Idaho Springs.  The day before it snowed but today was beautiful.  50 degrees and just a breeze with sunny skies all day.  The flows were around 45cfs and the water was gin clear.  I end up fishing a red Amy's Ant all day while Mark does the same thing with a bwo trailing.  I catch 9 browns and a brookie while Mark catches 9 browns and a rainbow, with mine on the Amy's Ant and his on the BWO.   Great day of fishing to get twenty on dries in 4 hours between us.

  1. With the weather being a little temperamental over the past day or two, I am surprised that you did get into that many on dries. Great work, guys!
