Clear Creek

Headed back up to Clear Creek after a week of cold weather keeping me away.  The water was low and clear and the weather was perfect.  I start at old favorite because it's in the sun.  I work about half as much water as usual because the action is so slow.  I manage to catch three before picking up and moving to the next spot.  I finish the day trying for some bigger fish and thankfully get three good size rainbows.  The bonus was I caught another dozen fish on top of that.  Everything came on the red Amy's Ant while purple, green, tan, blue and yellow versions got me nothing.  Good day on the water!

  1. Nice rainbows, the ones you photographed really have some heft to them!
