North Fork Big Thompson River

Decided to try out some new water for the day and headed up to the North Fork of the Big Thompson.  The weather was perfect and the water was low and clear.  I get to the creek around 10:45am and catch my first fish by 10:46am.  The fishing is tight in most spots but the fish are willing to take the Amy's Ant when presented properly.  I end up fishing from where you meet the river to just past the second bridge over the coarse of 3 1/2 hours.  I end up with thirteen fish to hand and another 7 on and off.  Great day on some new water!
