Fishing in Grand County

Headed up to Grand county for three days with Mark to do some fishing.  Day 1 we start at Muddy Creek hoping to get on some good size fish.  For what ever reason the fish are super spooky making it almost impossible to get in range for casting.  That being said Mark picks up five good size fish on a copper john while nymphing.  I on the other hand don't catch anything and only have a couple looks.  We pick up and try out the Colorado River to see if I can get on a fish.  The water is low and clear but I still can't hook up with a fish while Mark catches one more.  We finish off the day on a unnamed creek and thankfully I finally get a couple fish.  A little brookie and a nice 14" brown to end the day.  Good start to the trip!
