Clear Creek

Headed back up to Clear Creek on a beautiful day.  The water was crystal clear and low with ice shelves on half the river.  As usual I start up high and work my way downstream over the coarse of the day.  First spot ends up having the most action and fish.  I end up using a red and a purple Amy's Ant along with a blue Beetle for flies throughout the day with the majority of fish on the purple Amy's.  The first spot gives up 8 fish, the second spot gives up 1 fish, the third spot gives up 1 fish and the last spot skunks me.  Still a pretty good day on the water considering how many people were fishing.  Can't wait for the snow to be gone!
