Clear Creek

Headed up past Silver Plume to see if I could catch some cutthroat trout.  I end up fishing that section for a little over an hour but only get three cutthroat(all got off when trying to get pictures).  The action was just non existent, so I decide to pick up and head downstream a ways.  The next stop i get one brook trout and nothing else, so I pick up again and head to my final spot.  I pick a spot I know well to get on some fish and try for the slam.  I end up catching a dozen little browns but could not get a rainbow to bite.  Pretty good Labor Day, now off to work.
