Rubicon River

In the middle of a 23 mile trough hike in three days we came across the Rubicon River which was very low but had a couple of section that pooled up.  We find a good section and try our luck for about an hour.  Even with the wind kicking up we both manage to land four brookies.  I caught all mine on a Elk Hair Caddis while Dax caught his on Kebari's.  Great little break in the middle of our hike.
