Arkansas River in the Fall

Headed down to the Arkansas River with Mark after reading that the dry fly action was good.  The flows were around 400cfs and the water was pretty clear.  The day started off sunny but quickly became overcast which kept the temperatures around 60 degrees.  We fished a couple spots over the coarse of the day but only the first spot gave up any fish.  Mark caught seven on a BWO pattern while I managed eleven with 2 on a Caddis and 9 on a Copper John.  Overall we had a good day even with the tough fishing and always good to get out.
