North St Vrain Creek

Headed up to The North St Vrain with Mark to try our luck.  We start the day in R.M.N.P. at the normal spot and work ourselves upstream.  The flows are good and the water was clear.  Mark ends up fishing with his Tenkara rod after breaking his western rod and kills it.  He is on fish from the moment he hit the water.  I on the other hand had a ton of action throughout the day but could only land about half as much as Mark.  We fish for a few hours before we head back to the car and find a spot in the canyon to fish.  The spot we find has a ton of pocket water to fish and the action does not stop.  We both get onto fish at about the same rate as before with Mark doubling up.  Great day of fishing!
