Clear Creek

Headed back up to Clear Creek for the day to see if the fishing was still on.  I pick a spot in the lower canyon and work upstream for about three hours.  I tie on a red Amy's Ant and start casting through the pools and pockets.  Within a hour I have caught a dozen little rainbows and browns.  After a little break I continue fishing and catching at about the same rate.  Third hour is more of the same, catching fish all over.  I did manage to land a couple brookies today but no luck with a cutthroat for the slam.  Pretty good three hours on the water today.
