South Platte River

So I decided to head back to the South Platte River where I had fished with Mark and Derron on the weekend.  I wanted to see what it looked like during the week.  I got there at ten and only two cars in the parking lot, which was ten less than on the weekend.  I fish the same water as before and manage to get a dozen fish or so for the day.  The added bonus of the day was about half the fish were really good size.  I used a few different patterns depending on the situation including a Amy's Ant, RS2 and a pheasant tail.  The weather was perfect and I couldn't have asked for a better fishing day.
