Eleven Mile Canyon

Headed to  Eleven Mile Canyon on a beautiful day with the flows low and the water clear.  Made the trip with my buddy Mark, who along with me was expecting a great day of dry fly fishing.  Being a week day we thought we would miss the crowds, but this ended up being one of the busiest week days on the river I have ever had.  That being said the day of fishing in the canyon was tough and slow.

For the second part of the day we decided to try a section of the South Platte just outside of the canyon.  We had fished this area before and had good luck and were hoping it would be a little less crowded than the canyon section.  We find a spot to ourselves and finish the day off catching a few fish each before calling it a day and heading home.
