Late afternoon on Bear Creek

Got out to the creek around 3pm with the water running high but clear.  The weather was nice but the fishing traffic was a little heavier than I had hoped.  I started the day with a bwo dry fly and headed downstream of the parking lot.

Over the coarse of the next few hours I end up catching a number of little browns, at a few different holes, all on the BWO!  It seemed to be the twitching of the fly that sparked most of the bites with only a couple coming on dead drifts.

I fish until around 7pm and call it a good fishing day.  Just nice to see Bear Creek fishing well again after the flood last fall.
