North Fork of the South Platte River

Mark and I decided to head up to the North Fork of the South Platte for the day and try some new spots to fish.  the day started slow for both of us, but after trying a few spots we finally started getting into some fish.
For me the magic pattern was a big green drake that helped me bring in nine fish over the coarse of the day.  For Mark the action was a little slower but he still managed to catch a few befoer we called it a day.

Great to try some new water and still catch some fish with a buddy!

Rod:  Iwana 12' 6/4

Fly that worked:  Green Drake
